This is not a six second abs program or a how to add 100 pounds to your bench press in two weeks program. This program IS about building real strength and muscle in a completely sustainable manner while putting the fun back in training. I have worked lots of different programs and while some of them brought results, they all had one thing in common. They were not sustainable. Let me say that differently. If a program works great for a few weeks or maybe even a few months but then everything comes to a screeching halt, in my opinion it is not sustainable. When you quit gaining strength the majority of folks will tell you to mix it up, change exercises, take a break or something of this nature. The reality is you are probably over-trained. The body can only take so much for so long and then it will shut down. The central nervous system WILL shut you down if you do not give it a rest. The majority of these over-training programs have been written by people either using drugs (steroids) or people who do not actually work the program themselves. This program can be repeated over and over again for years without rest if done correctly. That being said, I DO NOT USE STEROIDS! I NEVER HAVE! I NEVER WILL! I do work this program. Am I too young/old for this program? Heavy resistance training before high school age, in my opinion is too young. Too old, that’s a bunch of nonsense. There is no such thing as too old. How many people have you ever met that could perform a full parallel competition depth squat with 2.5 to 3 times their body weight? How about a 1.5 to 2 times or more than body weight bench press. I am talking about a strict, no bounce, under control bench press. What about the deadlift? Would you consider 2.5 to 3 times your body weight a lot for the deadlift? Strict over head pressing is very difficult. Do you know anyone that can strictly over head press their own body weight? How about 1.25 or 1.5 times their body weight? I am not talking about people using squat suits or bench press shirts or even knee wraps. I am talking about no gear, no drugs real raw strength.
